Saudi Conciliation Center Records 1,200% Surge in Agreements Over Five Years

In 2024, the Saudi Ministry of Justice’s Conciliation Center issued over 132,000 conciliation agreements, reflecting a 1,200% growth rate over the past five years. The Center provides conciliation services through the Taradhi platform (taradhi.moj.gov.sa), staffed by qualified conciliators who facilitate out-of-court dispute resolution.

This approach has bolstered the sustainability of individual and contractual relationships while significantly reducing court caseloads. The Taradhi platform supports remote dispute resolution with streamlined procedures aligned with the Ministry’s digital transformation goals, eliminating the need for in-person visits to conciliation centers.

Conciliation agreements issued via the platform are legally enforceable by enforcement courts in cases of non-compliance. Recent platform enhancements have improved user experience, accelerating the conciliation process and reducing administrative burdens.

These achievements align with the Conciliation System Activation Initiative under the National Transformation Program, a key component of Saudi Vision 2030, which promotes conciliation as a preferred method for resolving disputes socially and economically.
